![]() ![]() For optical disc authoring the RIGHT way, you will want to use Windows. Handbrake once upon a time included a subset of what AnyDVD HD or Passkey includes but it has since lost those capabilities. Although the nature of DVD-V content is lossy for the most part, I want the entire disc so I have what it takes to do whatever with it afterwards if I so choose. DVDFab Passkey will also work but I prefer AnyDVD HD. There is simply no point copying a DVD, HD-DVD or Blu-Ray without it. I use SlySoft AnyDVD HD because, regardless what anybody and everybody says, it is nothing less than essential and imperative to run that in the background before you insert the disc and launch whatever software you choose. Basically, I use either PowerISo or UltraISO in conjunction with SlySoft AnyDVD HD to copy the full sector-per-sector disc to an image. ![]() I replied to another similar post and I will link to my reply once I find it. Click the 'Load Disc' option in the upper left side corner of the window and browse your Blu-ray disc and choose it. There is not a single piece of software that compares to what I use for Windows. Before you launch the software, open your MacBooks BD drive and insert your Blu-ray disc. I have used Windows for years and years and that is the first type of software I researched when I began to use Mac OS X. Mac Free Any Blu-ray Ripper is a powerful app to convert your Blu-ray to any format you desire. ![]()
